Emma and Dan: Brisbane Portrait Photography

Oh, I’m super happy to share today’s engagement session with you. Emma and Dan are a really sweet couple from Dalby, north west of Toowoomba, and they’re just crazy about each other.

I asked them to share their story here today:

Describe each other in five words

(Emma, as described by Dan) –  Caring, open, beautiful, fun and tolerant
(Dan, as described by Emma) Postitive, carefree, charming, patient and understanding.

How did you meet?  (Emma)”Dan and I met through work. We started a week apart from each other at a motorcycle shop in Dalby (bikes being Dan’s passion and my first job after school) and the relationship grew quickly from there.”

Describe the proposal. (Emma) “Dan’s proposal to me was simple but very us – in private just the two of us. I arrived home late for work in a rush to get ready for a gym break up party. Dan was in the living room all dressed up in his suit ready and waiting. At first glance I thought, ‘Oh, no something has happened.. what is it?’ I thought someone had passed away.. but he then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. As shocked as I was I forgot how to talk and was thankful it was just us two at home alone. I finally came to my senses and said yes.”

For our portrait session, we headed to the QUT Gardens Point campus and the Brisbane Botanic Gardens.
